You were someone special I knew once,
That smile that somehow I see out of the corner of my mind,
A faint whisper that fades as I grasp,
A feeling of warmth and contentment that faded sometime past,
It is now that sometime past,
That place in my mind, whisper grasped and again it is warm,
The past is gone,
But you will always be here in my heart,
a place,
a time,
a thought.
