Psalm 51:10-12

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
And sustain me with a willing spirit.

Jim Long's Writing's - Jim's Poetry

Upon a hill looking I stand

Looking out over the land

Love is all most’d demand

Life isn’t what we planned

But it is for the most grand

Hark it is an angle we see

A complete and utter glee

The truth is said to set free

Decision our heart must be

Love essential to you and me

Hark there by mountain truth

It’s something never to be aloof

We’re tasked shout from a roof

In that our conviction is proof

Displaying our life’s real couth

We live in a life that’s humbled

Watching as others crumbled

Life’s mission already tumbled

Seeking wrongs righted fumbled

Beaten down by life and troubled

Not being among those who’re lost

Our life and our Lord a high cost

We shouldn’t His love have tossed

Not a line we should have crossed

Our love shouldn’t ever exhaust

Love in our Lord, Jesus Christ in Eternity, Jim  +
