A man entered the land and he had with him a golden goat. He was handsome and provided much happy conversations with those who encountered him. He talked of wealth and of places of great wonder. He said that it all came from the golden goat. He said great mysteries were given to the holder and owner of the golden goat. He said it is like the Shepherd of Life, but one had to be careful with the knowledge he was given and most of all that the holder should hide his activities from God. If God only knew, He wouldn’t be pleased by this gift of knowledge. It was given by God, but He kept it hidden and that the man was now entrusted with the golden goat.

Many saw what looked like miracles and great wonders. The stranger could talk much of what he “knew” and that for a price he’d share the golden goat with the people. He tried different strategies to get his “secret” knowledge available. He tried with lust for money and that provided some customers. He tried lust for flesh and that provided some customers; but all other desires were used, yet there were still not enough customers for his golden goat miracle and knowledge giving creation.

So he thought and pondered and finally Satan realized the contents of the New Testament and it gave him the necessary tools to send his minions to those who thought they loved Christ and God, only to learn that they followed a rather clouded illusion in their “faith.”

As long as you live, you have a choice to show the Love you were Freely Given. You have a free choice to choose a “charlatan” clergy or to follow Christ. Satan and your personal “lust” can lead you away. Don't get "goaded" in away from Christ!
